January News Update

We continue into 2020 full steam ahead, with our staff working hard through last year and into this one, overcoming the challenges posed by the wet weather. A few updates from recent months:

New Vehicle

We will very shortly be upgrading one of our 4X4 vehicles to a newer version with more seats, giving us a greater capacity to get our operatives, tools and equipment to where it needs to be, no matter the ground conditions.

New Training

We have recently put two of our staff through the IPAF course for Mobile Elavated Working Platforms to ensure we can continue to carry out grounds maintenance to normally out of reach locations. Rob, our Works Supervisor, has successfully completed his IOSH Managing Safely course, increasing his knowledge of health and safety and aiding him in ensuring our staff are working safely on site. We have also just had our Planterior Safety & Training day coving the competant use of machines as well as safety when out on site. As ever, our staff continue to maintain their health and safety knowledge through regular tool box talks, training events and the SPA passport renewal scheme.

New Equipment

We have ensured our staff are kitted our with the latest landscaping machinery including strimmers, hedgecutters and ride on mowers. We will soon be expanding our mowing capacity with new machinery.

New Staff

Carl has joined us as our new Contract Manager, assisting Tom and the other staff to ensure the successful running of our maintenance contracts and one-off jobs. You may soon see him coming to your site to carry out quality assurance visits.

Iain has joined us full time as a general operative. He is fitting in well with the other operatives and getting stuck in on site.

New Customers

We can now offer acoustic barrier fencing such as that featured in the photograph above.
